Who we are and what this covers

No-Nap Nap is operated by CBH Labs LLC. This policy covers the No-Nap Nap mobile app and the website at nonapnap.app.

Information we collect

The app may store:

• An optional first name used for your in-app greeting.
• An anonymous user identifier created by Firebase Authentication. No email address or social login is attached to it.
• Your app settings, such as voice, guidance density, background sound, volume, and default session length.
• Session history, including session type, start and end times, duration, and whether the session was completed.
• A separate random analytics identifier, screen names visited, events such as starting or completing a session, event times, and basic app and device information sent to PostHog. The analytics identifier is not connected to your optional name or Firebase account.

Our service providers may process an IP address and standard network request information to deliver and secure their services. We do not use this information to determine your precise location.

On iPhone, the app also keeps a short diagnostic log of warnings and errors on your device. This log is not sent to CBH Labs LLC automatically and is removed when you delete app data.

How we use it

We use this information to operate and personalize the app, show your rest history, restore your preferences, maintain an anonymous backup, keep the service secure, troubleshoot problems, and understand which parts of the app are useful. We do not use it for advertising, marketing profiles, or cross-app tracking.

Where it is stored and who receives it

Your settings and session history are stored on your device. An anonymous backup is stored using Google Firebase, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Basic product analytics are processed by PostHog in the United States.

Google and PostHog act as service providers and may use information only to provide, secure, and support their services for us under their applicable data-processing terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety or rights of users or others, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. A successor would remain responsible for the information covered by this policy.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not allow third parties to collect information through No-Nap Nap to build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or websites.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your email address, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information, health sensor data, or advertising identifier. PostHog is configured without automatic tap or text capture, session replay, advertising, or cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

Settings and session history remain on your device until you delete app data or remove the app. Firebase information is kept while the anonymous account remains active. Product analytics are kept only as long as needed to measure feature use, make product decisions, and troubleshoot problems, after which they are deleted or aggregated.

You can remove your app data at any time under Settings, then Delete app data. This deletes the on-device settings and history, the cloud-backed settings and sessions, and the anonymous Firebase account. It also resets the random PostHog analytics identifier so later activity is not connected to earlier events. Past analytics events are not linked to your optional name or Firebase account and are not removed by the in-app deletion control. Limited backup, fraud-prevention, or security-log copies may remain until the service providers' normal deletion cycles are complete.

Children

No-Nap Nap is a general wellness app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

Your choices

You can leave the name field blank, change your name or settings at any time, or delete your settings, session history, and anonymous cloud account from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting, but there is no common standard for responding to it. The No-Nap Nap website does not respond differently when this setting is enabled. We do not use the website or app for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information handled by the app. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States or another country where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, our practices, or applicable law changes. We will post the new policy at this URL and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide any additional notice required by law, including an in-app notice when appropriate.
